It is a Private, Non-Sectarian, Co-educational Institution granted University status by the Commission on Higher Education Department (CHED) in 1997.

The University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) , located in Las Pinas, Manila, is a highly recognised Institute providing quality Medical Education for more than 40 years. The University of Perpetual Help has 3 major campuses in Las Pinas, Molino and Calamba. The campus located in Las Pinas has a student population of around 12,000 and employs about 1,500 teaching and non-teaching staffs. It offers more than 70 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate academic programs.

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA is recognized by Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) as the only Institution south of Metro Manila to have the most number of Level III Accredited programs.

LAS PINAS CAMPUS

The Las Pinas campus is spread over four hectares and houses all the offices, classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, library, hostel, canteens, sports arena and a multi speciality hospital. Lecture halls are equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities and are fully air-conditioned. Wifi and Internet facilities are provided. Separate accommodations are available for boys and girls on campus with canteens serving both North & South Indian food.

UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP DALTA MEDICAL CENTER

UPHSD has its own tertiary teaching and training multi speciality hospital (300 beds) within the campus where students learn and acquire skills required by their healthcare professions. It is also affiliated with leading hospitals offering good exposure, “hands on practice” and interaction for students in Manila. Super Specialities such as Nephrology is also available in the Las Pinas Campus.
