Georgia is located in Eurasia at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, bounded by the Black sea (West), Turkey & Armenia (South), Azerbaijan (S.East) & Russia (North). Georgia has a moderate climate with warm summers and fairly mild winters.

Georgia is a unitary, semi-presidential republic, with the government elected through a representative democracy.

There is a strong growing U.S. and European influence in Georgia, notablythrough proposed EU and NATO membership. Georgia is a member of the United Nations, Council of Europe, World Trade Organization, Black Sea Economic Cooperation, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe etc

Education in Georgia is free of charge and mandatory from the age of 6 until 17 years. The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia has a general coordinating function in the field of higher education. The role of National Centre of Educational Accreditation has become more prominent since they joined the Bologna Process in 2005. The higher institutions in the country offer quality education. Georgia, today, boasts of academics and teaching staff that are well-qualified after getting trained in U.S and Europe. English is widely spoken by younger generations.

Georgia is a safe & very peaceful country. It has very low crime rates and the least corrupt nation (Transparency International, 2015) in the region, outperforming all of its neighbours, as well as nearby European Union states.
